Overview of ICT
ICT (Information and Communication Technology) refers to the effective use of technologies related to information and communication.
Today, the introduction of ICT has become an essential factor for improving efficiency and accuracy at construction sites.
Control data for construction machinery using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and topographic survey data obtained from aerial drone surveys are centrally managed through ICT and utilized across each production process.
The transfer and sharing of information through such integrated systems enable greater efficiency and improved quality throughout the construction process.
Use of ICT at Takeuchi Construction
Development of New Technologies and Quality Control
At Takeuchi Construction, we actively introduce ICT to support the development of new technologies such as “TNF 2.0” and “DD Foundation,” as well as to enhance quality control.
Through data analysis and advanced simulations using ICT, we are able to obtain highly accurate information and achieve improved quality. In addition, data recording and tracking have become easier, enabling faster identification and resolution of quality-related issues.
Improved Construction Efficiency and Workforce Reduction
The use of ICT has dramatically advanced the efficiency and automation of construction processes and tasks, significantly reducing manual workloads.
As a result, the time and labor previously required for manual work have been reduced, allowing workers to focus on more specialized tasks and new challenges such as improving overall project quality.
ICT Operational Workflow
1. Design
Output 3D data after completing the design using BIM (Building Information Modeling).
2. ICT Data Preparation
Using the 3D design data, data for ICT-enabled machinery is created.
3. Construction
Construction is carried out using ICT-enabled machinery, and quality control is performed.
4. Report Generation
Since construction data is managed in the cloud, reports can be generated promptly.
5. Inspection
The stored data can be utilized during inspections.
