Design and Construction of the TNF Method

Design and Construction of the TNF Method

Process from Site Investigation to Construction Report

01. Preliminary Cost Estimate (Approx. 1 week)

If you provide planning drawings (floor plans, elevations, and sections) and a soil boring log (nearby boring data is also acceptable), we will prepare a cost estimate.

02. On-Site Boring Survey and Soil Tests (Approx. 2 weeks)

In some cases, the TNF method requires a boring survey. Prior to drilling, we will specify the soil layers that require triaxial compression tests, consolidation tests, and grain size distribution tests. Based on the test results, we will make a final determination as to whether practical design is feasible.

03. Detailed Design (Approx. 2 weeks)

A complete set of official architectural and structural drawings is required in digital format (data format for SS software, or converted to PDF for other software).

04. Formal Cost Estimate (Approx. 1 week)

We will prepare a cost estimate based on the detailed design drawings.

05. Building Confirmation Application (Approx. 1–2 months)

If the review authority raises questions regarding the foundation portion (TNF method), our company will handle the responses.

06. Laboratory Mix Design Test (Approx. 2 weeks)

After approval of the building confirmation application and conformity assessment, soil is collected from the site in order to achieve the strength specified in the design.

Mix design tests and hexavalent chromium leaching tests are conducted to confirm and determine the appropriate amount of cement-based stabilizing agent and to ensure that hexavalent chromium leaching values meet the required standards.

07. Final Cost Estimate (Approx. 1 week)

Once all conditions are finalized, including drawings and the required amount of cement-based stabilizing agent, we will prepare the official final cost estimate.
